This was what I was thinking. Goku so exhausted he comes in and insta kos goku, setting himself to be the ULTIMATE baddie for next arc that they announce the day of the supposed final episode lol.

The remaining universes and the gods ban together to try and defeat the ultimate evil in all universes, Frieza.

I swear to god if you guys are right and there is a new arc announced with Frieza or whoever really, I'm legit gonna tear up. I'm already sweatin for Sunday's reveal.

only other thing I could see if those 2 being forced to work together to beat jiren,
or I could even see goku throwing frieza out just so that he doesnt get the chance to make a horrible wish lol

Frieza only gets one wish, even if he wished to come back to life I don’t see how that would threaten goku et al, let alone the gods and xeno

Frieza could just ask to have the power of a God and kill Zeno or something like that.
Or ask to resurrect his entire race, which we know was ultra powerful.

Had a conversation about his race with my brother haha, we really know nothing about it except they are FEW and POWERFUL.

It would be super interesting to find out what happened. If all the species really were that powerful it would be cool to see how they died. To me what makes more sense to me is that Frieza is the exception (his bloodline rather) and perhaps the race wasn’t as strong and perished through xyz circumstance. Maybe their bloodline itself lead to their demise?

However I think we can make the argument that frieza doesn’t really care about his blood line, let alone his species. The attitude he had towards his father and even vice versa when frieza was killed.

The wishing to be as powerful as a god makes sense, we shall see!
