Law only recently could cut vergo, meaning his fruit power wasnt able to always cut everything. That said, the poneglyphs are indestructible and immovable. I dont think you can get powerful enough to cut/move that.

aka, law's power gets stronger over time, but poneglyph will always be untouchable

How do you carve writing in something that can not be altered or cut. Gol d roger did it as well as who ever wrote in them in the first place

Whoever made them in the first place must've had some way to shape it. Don't think it's really alterable after creation. However, you're right, Roger did carve his message. However, I'm not sure if he actually carved it on the actual poneglyph

In the anime i believe it shows that what Roger wrote was in the gold.

anyways. the op op fruit couldn't cut vergo simply b/c his Color of Armamnents was too strong.


e/ haki was said to be the only power that works on fruit powers. it prevents him from being cut simply b/c of that.

yeah, meaning the power of the fruit changes over time, but the poneglyph's hardness should be absolute

keep in mind, everything is speculation

it wasn't the fruits power increase that made him able to cut vergo, was his own haki denying vergo's armament thus making the fruit power be useable again

that's unknown. I was gonna say the same thing. but even if that were true there is evidence that his op op fruit has become more powerful. His "room" is a lot larger now. I personally believe fruit powers don't become more powerful. A person may find more ways to use it but the power itself is always of the same strength unless haki is used as well. But that is just speculation. We only know that Law can now do things with his fruit that he couldn't do 2 years ago.

Don't think anyone of the crew will eat the mera mera, if they get hold of it. But Sanji would be the only candidate I could think of doing it.

I was thinking the same thing. This chapter also presents good potential for a new crew member I think
