um, isnt that how most story plots go? villain is strong, hero is weak but gets stronger and ends up beating the villain. probably aizens zanpaktou is only overpowered as of now, until they find its weaknesses later on (hint hint). im glad they made aizen powerful, i wouldnt have wanted a weak antagonist or it would end too quickly + boring
