Well Emilia wouldn't be the Evil one.
The other half would be.

If she is the Body of the Witch then she should be just a empty shell.
but she isn't.
so she likely developed a new personality or maybe she's like a part of the witch that wasn't evil.

there's probably deeper lore to the whole Jealous Witch story we haven't heard yet.
maybe there was a time when she wasn't evil. (which could make Emilia like a split personality maybe?, that is if she's even this other half to begin with)

they ain't gunna just do some cliche shell shit and then have the protagonist "rescue" her from the real one aka jealous witch.
They gunna make this shit be like EMILIA IS EVIL AND IS THE JEALOUS WITCH
THEN the protagonist goes insane and CRIES again and then dies and retries again to stahp her

well if it does turn out she's this other half and the plan is to unseal the witch and make her whole again.
then yeah Emilia will likely turn evil.

likely not going to be a sad ending though since Fantasy animes i find tend to end happily
so she'll likely be saved somehow if that's the case.

will prob still be mindfuck to Subaru, since once made whole again she'll likely take back the power she gave Subaru or at least be the only person capable of killing him for good.
maybe make him a play toy or something and kill him over and over again like some twisted reward for competing his task.

but atm i think i lean closest to the possibility of Emilia (if she is the other half) could be a split personality that wasn't so evil. (therefore not technically the Witch and perhaps why she's not sensed on her)
cause otherwise the witches body that was leftover after she was seal away would have been empty.

So maybe the Jealous Witch had split personalities or something.
