No, even before that. Didn't even put up a fight. Like that guy said, a poser. Girlfriend about to get raped or some shit and you don't have balls to do anything? nn fighting experience or strength, just go berserk as any decent guy would.
I'm sure if your gf or daughter or whatever was taken hostage by bullies you'd go ape shit unless you're in some ghetto shit place then I'd be cautious.

Parasyte concerns itself with exploring what it means to be human (particularly so in relation to other species).
If you don't like the fact that the protagonist experiences human emotions, such as fear, doubt, disbelief, etc, you're going to have a bad time.

Go watch something else.

well he isn't exactly a fighter as from the punch he did throw totally missed the mark.
as Migi said, if he was a 10 that other guy was a 18.

he also said Migi was holding him back and asking for better control.
he has an murderous creature for an arm that has no emotion and could come out and destroy those guys at any time, so there was also fear there.
since Migi would most likely Kill the girl also.

Highly doubt they'll pull a Tokyo Ghoul and kill off the MC. Sure he took a shot to the heart region but we don't know what these parasites are capable of in terms of relocating and/or providing support to the body, especially when Migi depends on dude's survival.

Well put; it's easy to sit back and call these dudes pussies or nerds or cowards but think about it: seventeen year old kid, normal life, now dealing with alien threats and a weapon as a right hand, as it stands he couldnt've beat up those gangsters and had he gone ham Migi probably would've killed them.
