if i'm not mistaken, they graduated together, and the accident happened right after graduation. the injury probably delayed him from starting college.

Banri asked Linda "Yes or No" and never got his answer.
if yes, he would go to Tokyo and be with her forever, he loved her. if no, they will go their separate ways.
when he got injured, Linda didn't get the chance to tell him the answer.
Linda went to the hospital and shined the light at the hospital at 11 every night, which caught his attention.
when he found the source of the light (Linda), they talked, and she told Banri that he should go to Tokyo.
to me, that's the same as Linda telling Banri "yes" and she has feelings for him.
but now that Koko confessed to him, i'm interested in how this will play out.
