when some badass gets beat down in a fight and some weak ass character (usually female) jumps in to protect him screaming "you have to go through me first!" followed by some cheesy drama where she talks about the badass and how he's the greatest guy ever etc
where the villain gets the patience to listen to that crap idk...

Yelling/screaming makes your attacks stronger

In most anime fights when the good guy gets the first hit and downs the bad guy (temporarily) he just gives a speech instead of actually continuing to beat him up while his down

after that usually follows a scene where the bad guy gets up and does something terrible like takes hostage or w/e, by then im like wtf why didnt u beat him up when he was laying there

e- oh ye anime superheros usually tend to yell their attack names too, like GETSUKA TENSHO or KAMEHAMEFUCKINGHA; no idea if this counts as cliche tho

I wish the girls in the animes were IRL. Not the great boobs, or the fantastic hair, or any of that shit. But the personalities.

I'm not talking about bat shit crazy similar to School Days, but something like Inori in GCrown.

Or Saeko Busujima in HOTD (shes about as extreme as it gets ... she has her "side" but her overall personality is phenomenal)

I've seen a few characters now, that I was just thinking, "Man, I wish I could find a girl as genuine and sincere as X" ... and then I come to the realization most girls are pretty crummy irl and face palm some more.

e- I don't know if it's cliche, but I've seen a pattern of these character types more and more
