I never bothered to watch the original, since I knew it didn't follow the canon story line

never rlly got into hunter x hunter, read to like episode 90 and it just felt like i reading a mmorpg of some kid leveling up his character. the manga had no storyline or suspense to drawn you in. completely terrible manga/anime
