How is it? Still haven't picked it up again. Dropped it after voice actors left.

Not sure when voice actors changed or if dubbed or subbed (me being dubbed) ... Basically the same, a lot of back story introduced to fill up some of the episodes ... well not too far back.

Currently at the Vegapunk storyline, with how the Govt was setup by the Celestial beings the top dogs and how the "D" came about in Luffy had D in his name based on lineage etc.

Oh, a new threat ... I do like the laughing white haired Luffy though.

Sabo voice actor is gone, then the person who did Franky / Bon Clay departed. Voice actor for Franky in Japanese had a very unique voice and I don't believe anyone could pull off his "Super" comments or demeanor the same. The voice actor replaced for Sabo is tolerable....ish. but not the same. One Piece has been going on way too long imo. So I get that people get old and just can't do it anymore. I think I was on after the Vegapunk Arc, start of the other direction when this happened.

I think dubbed has an advantage... the recordings of "Superrrr..." from the original voice actor will come out the same... but that is a different story.

Currently episode 1135 ... Vegapunk and them saved by Luffy... the Celestial King (new enemy) has been introduced at the Regent meeting of leaders of all the seas and so forth.

Sorry about the loss of a subbed voice actor.

On another note... I have noticed some (well 2 so far) anime series that came out are only like 5 to 7 minutes long... is this a new thing? Also, even though I have and will not watch it, there is a new Peter Grill anime (r18) where the episode lengths are 12 minutes.... has the industry of anime taken a dive and just coming out with short stories???

They have a few mini series with a lot I noticed. However, the ones that were more frequent at the time of my recognition of it, were usually for child or younger/family audiences. Like a cat and dog slice of life or learning Japanese history, etc.

Watched the first season of Ubel Blatt ... wasn't too shabby... the polls are like 5 or 6 out of 10, however it could be more... note, it does get less intensive and mediocre in the later episodes... so if they have a season 2, I hope they pick up the pace a bit more.

Anyone watch lord of mysteries? Season 1 finished releasing on crunchyroll recently and it's really good

For those who have seen the Demon Slayer movie - How was it? Found an old AMC gift card with enough balance left over. Didn't know if I should just wait for it to be on Crunchy or something else. (No Spoilers please)
