Okay I have finally Tried Soul Land (Duolo Dalu) this morning. Since you talked about it like three times in your posts. towards me recently. Well What to Say.. It is a damn pretty Anime, it is beautiful... So beautiful that my PC doesn't even Run it ! My old Pc (old Pc from 2014) has Lots of troubles Playing these files or Newer Animes. So far have I only found HQ 2160p or even 4K Res Available for this Anime. hence My Pc can only handle 1080p Res at its Max.. Well I could still Play it but it was at very slow Motion then. -> Couldn't do better (:

This being Said I could 'watch' a few scenes from it. First there was this vilain-looking guy who looked exactly like Sephiroth in ff7 remake.. Lol And I Also saw a girl who is the spitting Image of Aerith So still in ff7 R, except this one had green hairs !
No matter from which angle you see it, this Anime looks like we are in a big production from square-enix like one of the newer final fantasy's for example or Something. By Saying this I include FF XIV, FF XV, FF XVI and every Games that will come after.. The Staging, The Animation of Characters and even some of the Characters are very Alike. So many similarities with the Final Fantasy World. Actually it feels like we're already inside a Game or some friggin' MMORPG with this Anime here.

This your first Ghibli movie? Was for me years ago, then got all their movies on 4 disc set. Some of them are ehhh, like Porko Rosso I wasn't a fan of as much. Spirited away was good imo

Idk i really loved it when i watched it as a kid and still remember the movie as one of the best

my PC is from 2010, 1GB RAM, NVidia Graphics card (whatever cheap) since this PC was on Sale because of stock (only 1,500$ NZ) ... I had no issue watching them using Windows 7 Home Edition (Google Chrome) ... no lag at all. Mind you, I have a small Screen and I watched it at 360/480 pixels (resolution 10xx for screen).

You are correct, it was like playing FF8+ with the graphics, it also made me feel like it was a game. As for the characters, they were lively and colorful.

I guess that is why I thought you would like watching it... so how many episodes did you watch? The 2xx or just a few chapters? I believe the first chapter had like 12 episodes, the 2nd chapter had 52 episodes, the 3rd chapter like 12 or 13 episodes etc?

First one yes, ill look into others like you mentioned



I know I'm late to the party, I remember reading reviews years ago and seeing spirited away high up in ranking. Its been in my list for awhile so I was overjoyed to see it on HBO max. Smoked some weed and tuned in. 8.9/10 experience

I see. I Watched Two episodes in all. one amongst the 2xx I Think and the other one, one of the very recent ones. That Aired one week ago or Something. So it was Soul Land 2 Indeed. But again Conditions were terrible so I had to give up soon after..

Oh... you started watching the 2nd Season of Soul Land, yeah, I liked that one, it also gives a bit of history to Season 1 since Season 2 is 10,000 years after the original characters ... there are like 30 chapters to season 1 (2xx episodes) relating to the history in Season 2 and where the Blue haired person is and where the protagonist lineage comes from.
