just before cell games trunks got stronger but slower

so getting stronger is not always better need speed as well

Has nothing to do with what I said but ok. That happened because when they they trained in the room of spirit and time (hyperbolic time chamber for you U.S. fans) Vegeta and Trunks focused on strength and not speed and thus went Ultra Super Sayjin.

We've seen in the pass how it went for vegeta and goku
For example when they fought cell
Goku trained kinda chill while vegeta and trunks killed in the "time room" but goku already knew gohan was the one, but u get the point
It's not about training hard it s about training smart aswell
And that's what's Whis is tryin to teach them

That's the thing vegeta has always kept his focus on strength
Now the training with Whis will be the ultimate, it's all about training smart without turning super S
There's no point in discussing this any further, we just simply have to wait
But of what we have seen thus far in episode 18 it's looks good

I'm not enjoying db super that much on the account that goku is a dick
He doesn't do any housework seriously unless its for training.
He doesn't like to wait, EVER.
He doesn't really care about anyone if training is involved.

In db, dbz and dbgt, he liked training, but training wasn't his life. He took breaks, he did other stuff and he wasn't a dick to his family.
Of course he kept going to locations while training (Namek, undead world fighting with picon, kami's lookout and so on) but he did it for a reason such as to help fight vegeta, fight cell, fight freeza, fight whoever. While now, he's just doing it cuz he can and he wants to beat beerus.

Well when u reach God form and get the chance to get trained by God of destructions mentor (Whis) u would act like one lol ^^
