I have read your post and I understand that you have not ONLY played Rpgs in your life.
then how about these games ? Not a Rpg though a Ps1 classic. What do you think about This one?

If you didn't play this Game, then maybe did you play Gran Turismo back on the time ?
If you played neither of the Games then I don't understand.

Oh... racing games... to be honest. they are not my cup of tea... however, some of the people I associate with, loved those games... then they introduced me to GT and the sequels... also teaching me how to build your vehicle based on the Circuit... and of course... Grand Theft Auto and more.

I am not a racing enthusiast like some of my friends, but I did enjoy some of the games they introduced me too.

yes I'm very surprised to hear that cause "Ridge Racer" was even put to Arcades Before. If you frequented the Arcades centers in the 1995-1997 you could easily see it there. Him along with some other Games Like Tekken, one of the most popular fighting game of that time and one of the firsts introducing 3D to console games. We were in the beginning of the 3D back then. Before that Tekken game it was just the Mortal combat series back on the snes... that were the most popular fighting games back then

Btw, you who are so old. Did you play that game then? :P

I played all the Street Fighter games starting from the first which only had one button for punch & kick, for power hits, it was based on how hard (pressure) you hit the button. Then SFII and Champion Edition etc. I also played Mortal Kombat and Tekken, there was another Arcade fighting game, but forgot the name of it, you could do like 50+ combo hits.

I remember some Flight games where you sat down and some of the racing games, but they weren't to my liking ... 1944 I liked (think it was called that) ... basically I have played a ton of different types, but only liked the ones that felt comfortable for me.

:D

I hardly played many console games during that period. They have evolved a ton more, and you can still get a hold of the old games if I remember correctly.
