Before the smudge looked like it was thrown in on top of another tag - You had those bright lines going every which way, and then a section of smudge out of nowhere.
Now it looks simpler, I agree, and it probably needs some better lightning and maybe a few more effects, but I think the base of the sig has improved.

I hope Onceamule doesn't mind, but I made a few quick changes to the image (If you do mind, I"ll delete it asap ofc) - Just copied it into photoshop and played around for about two minutes

It's basically the same sig, with just a slight change in compo, and despite the lack of effects, it looks decent imo. I mean, it needs a few adjustment layers, and there's still room for effects, but the core is solid.
