Young at heart, mind and soul, just the body is older (not so wiser either)
I loved comics, cartoons (and I mean black and white and the ones that use to come out in the Newspapers) since I was young, was brought up by the Television (black n white) and old Batman & Robin series (if I want to get really old... Onedin Line TV soap in the 60s I believe was a fave), got into arcade games and still carried on watching TV and remember the other old favorites like Man from Atlantis (Patrick Duffy before he acted in Dallas), dang, even the old Superman TV series, Kojak, Baretta, Avengers (British secret service program) and of course the old Dr Who etc, then other TV series like Starman, American Ninja (yup TV series), Kung Fu (the old guy from Kill Bill 2), Western series the whole sha-bang... oh that reminds me of Mork and Mindy, The Waltons, Happy Days and a shit load more, then the Pretender TV series (oh getting side tracked)... anyway, even with all the Marvel / DC series and movies that came out plus other great movies... I like the action of them (mind you, I prefer the old comic version vs the 90s' + cartoon and latest live versions referring to Marvel/DC) ... well, with the Anime (maybe 12 years now), I like watching the "underdog" anime, or the Game type genre more than the old Dragonball anime... don't get me wrong, I loved Dragonball and all that (watched on TV), but lately getting into underdog & game (like Log Horizon and that other popular one with Kirito... ahh... SAO.
Only issue I have with anime... sub sucks for me... I hate the squelly voices in most of them, and then one of the new Anime where the protagonist (age 44 male) is reincarnated as a baby boy (being born) and the voice is a fully grown man, now the dubbed version of this anime, the child voice when he gets older to speak, is as a child, not a 44 year old man.
Sorry, but I like to also be able to look at the animation instead of reading the damn sub titles that go by fast especially when 2 people are talking at the same time or background chatting and the subs are on the top and bottom of the page... also the damn white text subs and the background is white... come on... change color to yellow so I can read the thing and NOT pause it everytime.
yay... I got to rant about it... oh wait... subs are basically 6+ episodes of the dubbed version, so sometimes am impatient to watch the next dubbed version, so I watch all subbed and have to wait even longer for the dubbed version (yup I am bad, but I blame them for not releasing them at the same time...
)
