haven't seen something so fucked up happen to the anime industry since i started even watching it.
Sure Earthquakes and shit happen but those are natural disasters and unavoidable, this was straight up murder by fire.

KyoAni is one of the studios that also treats their workers well to fight against the harsh working conditions the industry is known for.
really sucks that so many people had to die and suffer because of some crazy guy with a grudge.

It's horrendous... It fucking kills me that violence is becoming more prevalent in most societies. Japan has had some of the lowest violent crime rates for fucking ever and even they're starting to see a steady increase. Of course it's still the actions of a few, but we've seen how much pain and suffering the actions of a single person can bring. It's just fucked man. I don't personally know much about the studio tbh, I'm not nearly as knowledgeable on anime/manga as the majority of posters here, but it's still heartbreaking seeing the lives of so many people destroyed because of one fucking psycho.

yeah i was reading they pay salary where most companies pay per slide which creates stressful working conditions
