last good book we've had is Harry Potter, can't think of anything recent that got popular other than 50 Shades of Grey.

in short, people just to lazy to read unless it's in the palm of their hands.
prob a little bit of racism in their too because people don't want to hear moonrune language while watching because it's "distracting" or "sounds wack" because "english is better"

that can apply to weebs in general, even if they watch subs. (1 in 3 people are overweight in america and the education system isn't that great)
but it's safe to say those that solely watch dubs and use stupid excuses to avoid subs are pretty dumb.

license companies dont put effort into their english dubs anymore
dubs only worked in the 90's and 2000's cause the animation quality matched the wackiness of the voice overs

I have plenty of friends that disprove that stereotype.
But all of them say they just feel like they're not watching what's going on in the show if they're staring at the text the whole time.

I just cant get over the quality loss with dub. It's just wrong, and jeaprodizes a lot of the culture.

Like how tadaima, for example they'd say something like "home sweet home"

Because theres no fucking word in english that's even remotely close to "tadaima" just like how theres no english word for "cliche" or "touche"

That feel when a hella cute Russian girl starts messaging me cause I commented on a pic of her, but I cant read russian....
