Cause I just cant get into American films and shows.
Theres seldomly a show I can enjoy. But anime has the culture type I prefer. And also tends to hold a more emotional and captivating media experience.

Not to mention the things you can do with anime cant be done with film.

I'm only into superhero movies and hell/heaven movies. I understand that certain anime can make me smile and laugh, but i don't know, i don't get goosebumps the same anymore. Plus too much culture in an anime turns me off, rather have american machismo than some fairyland fantasy.

/edit it's like porn to me now, watered down after watching so much lol

Ya theres a lot of culture that throws me off in anime.
Like the whole siscon thing, but I just try and ignore it.

I like the types of movies u said ur into, those ones are bearable.

Ah i see. I'm trying to get back into anime and tried watching Black Clover, but it's not paced fast enough for me, you know any fast-paced anime that can keep my attention?

Yeah i read the slime one and goblin slayer is alright, got into it enough till like episode 11

Even the normies I showed animu gave up dubbed after like two shows, wew
