Goblin Slayer could have even ended a week earlier because of that recap ep.

since imo recap eps in 1cour shows are absolutely useless. (it's just filler, people don't really need recaps for series that short)
it makes more sense in 2 cour+ series, even more so for 2 cours that are split and skip a season before it airs the 2nd part.

That dreadful feeling when you swear they literally just used a copy paste of the same character design in two different animes from the same season

dammit why'd they make the Made in Abyss sequel into a damn movie.
Having to wait an extra 6months on top of waiting for the release sucks big time.
it's not like it'll look much better either, the series was already pretty much movie quality.

The backgrounds took the spotlight in that. Artists were amazing.

yeah, the bg's were truly some of high quality work.
Even things like the animation was very nice and fluid/smooth which was beyond what you'd normally see.
then there was the great orchestral sound track to go with it.
Kinema Citrus has lots of talent and really put their all into it and it showed.

though i'm not that surprised since they've steadily started to become a studio i look forward to seeing anime from.
since early stuff like Tokyo Magnitude 8 or recent stuff like Barakamon or even GochiUsa.
i'm sure Tate no Yusha will be really great looking this season too.
