Yes, yes, I too thought Sabo would likely reappear somewhere in the manga. It seemed weird they would backstory and introduce him just for the sake of the ace mini arc.

could be something stupid like sabo the noble died that day but sabo the navigator or something lived lol

The manga leaves room for the possibility of Sabo being alive in one of the pages. I unfortunately don't remember the page but i'll link it when i find it again.



I think it's just a data book and i would assume it's based on the information at hand. If Oda decides he wants to bring Sabo book, i guess the fifth data book will have some changes.

I think the idea of Sabo being MIA can prove to be pretty consistent with the story though.
-He is a noble and wants to get away from his heritage
-Doesn't want his parents or the world government to come after him
-He is with Dragon or somewhere laying low
-He is operating under a new alias.

As for not being there when Ace was being executed
-Maybe he suffered memory loss from the blast when he was a kid
-Maybe he has some connection to Kuma and was being operated on by Vegapunk

I'm sure Oda will come up with a good back story if this proves to be the case. As for now, who knows i guess.

I think Sabo would have made for an amazing end villain if the cards were played right. Though currently Blackbeard has that honor.

databooks are cannon but they have been known to be wrong several times,

i was trolling saying sabo - kaido just cause i was pissed at the way its implied obito = tobi <-- thats a plot development that absolutely does not make sense ,, just like sabo = kaido does not make sense




im pretty convinced sabo joined the REV army and is attempting to find luffy in his leisure time but the responsibilities of the REV army take priority i would assume sabo has moved up the ranks and has quite a lot of men under his command sabo has seen first hand the evil of " justice" by the nobles with the fire and what not

Yeah, no.. sabo is dead - and so is ace

they were sacrificed as a part of the story to help protagonist get on the next level, like the typical shounen thing - something bad happens then they overcome it by training afterwards

go re read or watch the bit about sabo sailing out to sea and getting blown up then watch the part about dragon coming into port
