I don't really understand why Aizen even made the Espada in the 1st place.. He could take on all the captains and vice captains plus vizard at same time easy =\ I guess he is lazy and rather not do all the work himself or something

nah he just make them because they can kill some "vice-captains" or "captains" like Soi Fon she lost her arm so she can't fight hand to hand combat like she was trained

well i have learned to infer that espadas 1-3 are not in terms strength, but 1 was made #1 out of mindset and such because im sure barragan is stronger than starke but his mindset is that of hating aizen and wanting revenge so not #1
