Just wondering one thing. Pls anyome make this clear to me..

If i remember right, goku first meets oob when pan is born already

But in super, oob is known already but pan wasnt born yet? Does goku not know him? I cant imagine this since oob is well known as the current champion and a friend of mr satan..

Just doesnt make any sense to me

So in episode 17 we are introduced to pan but what I know no oob been mentioned thus far, think about it
In the dragon ball series of books oob shows up after goku defeats boo in kais world, and before goku kills boo he wishes that boo comes back to live as a good person and fights against goku in the big tournament, which he eventually does, but that happened when Pan had grown up and herself was competing in the tournament

So in current time of dragon super series we haven't even arrived there yet...
So everything that happens now in super is probably just filler till the actual tournament were oob shows up

Boo is Mr.Satan's friend, not oob. We haven't seen oob yet and probably won't for a long while.

I'm guessing we won't see him ever. This is like a completely new story. If Goku is at "near-god" level, then oob would never have a shot against Goku.

Ya that's true tho :/ cuz now I realized that oobs character got more developed when Dragon ball GT started ...
But let's not get carried away just yet db has surprised us in the past

I mean if they really want to tie this in to the original story line they could just play it off as Goku toying with oob at the tournament (which if you rewatch the fight on youtube, he is).

Main problem for me tho is how goku hasn't seen bulma in 5 years when she shows up to his place with vegeta at the end of dragon ball Z. I wonder what the episodes are gonna be like in dragon ball super if we get there. Maybe they'll be training with Whis? I dunno. I have a feeling within the next 40-50 episodes, goku and vegeta will have passed Whis. Maybe even sooner.

Ya will be interesting to see how they will fill that gap from dragon ball z were vegeta and Bulma visits goku and goten
Probably that will be filled with gokus and vegetas training with Whis and lots of extra till the actual meeting with goku and Bulma and then the big tournament
