perhaps it was just shinji delusion mind at seeing some one important to him die  but it dosent make much sense for the plot line

I mean I know they were a lot stronger but it seems like once you hit a certain point you are just godly :P  I doubt Stark would have been able to take out grimmjow in an instant like the ranks suggest he should be able to.  he has the cero gun and the wolves but those powers kinda suck honestly
