There is no explanation in the manga yet, its a mystery that hasn't been revealed. Even if there isn't an explanation in the manga, there is NOTHING in fillers that is relevant to anything in the manga. They are called fillers for a reason.

given that there is no explination in the manga, the filler is the closest thing to truth available. whether you choose to accept that or not is a personal preference

Are you stupid enough to not even know what a filler is? Let me break it down for you.

A filler is something they insert into the anime for the sake of taking up time so the anime doesn't catch up with the manga. There is NO OTHER REASON for fillers. They do not contribute to the story in any way, they have nothing relevant to any part of the story and if you cut out all fillers than you lose NOTHING from the overall story.

Therefore it is not a personal preference to infer explanation given in the filler, it is just stupid to use a filler to solve a current mystery.

i know what a filler is, and just because you can remove them and the story still function properly doesnt make them irrelevant

Fillers don't happen in teh manga, therefore they have nothing to do with the manga discussion. If you remove the fillers from the story, then the explanation will never be given and the story cannot function properly. Therefore everything in a filler can be removed and an explanation for something in the manga cannot be given in a filler.
