The feel when playing Nier:Automata and the shitshow PC port bugs hits you 40 minutes and crashes.

Can't even save yet and I wasted an hour of my life.

Way to fail Shitenix.

Ports never work out good, they're almost always a shitshow in the beginning. because PC
that's why i try to avoid PC ports.

it's always good to wait a month+ before buying a Port i feel.
that's a pretty good window for bug fixes, at least for major ones.

it's more of a hardware issue i feel than developer. (publisher has nothing to do with it tbh)
it's hard to know what'll go wrong when a games ported over to different hardware, it just becomes a waiting game.



also NeiR Automata is sooo good
best game i've played this year so far.

Going to be difficult for me to start the game again though.

Normally when I play a game and lose 1+ hours of gameplay over a crash I just quit entirely.

yeah, i get you.
i've refunded a few games on steam that did the same over the years.
just more games for my consoles i guess in the end.
or waiting for steam sale later in the future when it's marked down by 50% or something and bugs have been ironed out. lol

Playing games for pvp when the interaction is decided heavily on latency.
