People think racism is Amerika is bad, try going to Japan with tattoos.

Seriously though, when I visited family in Osaka people avoided me like I had Leprosy or something.

well it's not really racism with the whole tattoo thing.
isn't it just a stigma that the japanese have because of gangs and violence?

though having anime styled/chibi girl tattoos probably doesn't help either.
since there's the tattoo hate piled ontop of the otaku hate. (plus being a gaijin prob doesn't help either)

hate and love goes both ways.

though i feel that the Halfu hate/racism might be more prevalent among older people and families who are still very much rooted in past practices and etc..
so there's probably less of it as time moves on.

though they're still pretty xenophobic, probably partly due to living on a small island overpopulated with people.
also because the America nuked the shit out of Hiroshima and etc.. (most of the racism today in the west is aimed at muslims/islam because of 9/11, even though different situations they have lasting impression in a similar way)

well, waifu is the way japanese pronounce wife, and halfu is the way japanese pronounce half.
half is short for a half japanese/half other race.
