I was setting up the last few & handling them but then I got a job & RIP my free time

By the time I realized I could do it this year it was already past xmas lol

Guys are they going to do D4?? Got excited when I realised second expansion had been cancelled and seems to be some stuff floating around

why would an expansion being cancelled get you excited for that reason?
they just scrapped that idea in favor of free updates and Necromancer DLC, probably because they wern't adding anything to the story (an expansion without another ACT would be weird considering previous ones)

D4 will likely happen.
since they have had Job listings related to Diablo's future on their site and shit.
Diablo is one of Blizzards big name games.
will it happen soon? probably not for a few years.

I retired blizzard products after they ruined d3 and starcraft ended

Do people even "legitimately" play D1?

Figured the only people that bother to play are the modded, hacked toons.

theres maybe a couple dozen folks dedicated to a real small pvp community.
Its all boring as @#$! though.

we can hope though right?

We can finally see what 3d Mandelbrot spirals might look like!
They figured out how to render 3d Kleinian groups which are pretty similar, they won't have as much variation zooming in but share many features.
They only figured this out two weeks ago though so are still improving everything, code implementing it in different programs working out formulas hybrid fractals. With optimization changing parameters etc could be as close as we'll get from a while. Especially as we're not sure the Mandelbrot exists in 3d, the multi colors of escape time don't translate as well into 3d/distance estimators as the 2 state Kleinian anyway.
