back to dragonball the real topic lol...i just had a thought while rewatching the tournament up till now. what if jiren senses something is up with grand priest or something in the midst of appearing and knows its something he cant handle himself. seems to me goku being the threat he is he would of knocked him off immediately after his first ultra instinct debut, but instead chose to leave him alone and continue to watch him develop. what if he is hoping goku will master the form to help him defeat what lies ahead. anyone else got that vibe?
I dont think jiren thinks goku can master it.
And maybe he is similar to goku... you have to think, someone as powerful as jiren has never had a threat before. Never had a challenge. similar to hit.
he could be curious and want to have someone who could potentially give him a battle that actually makes him put some effort fourth.
I mean look and goku and vegeta. they finish in their pants anytime they run into a new charecter that they could potentially fight lol.
e/ i do think grand priest is up to something, but i dont think jiren would know about it.
