What's up with sasuke's Mangekyo sharingan? He hasn't killed his best friend, nor has he taken his brothers eyes, So I'm believing what he has is not actually the MS? I'm finding it hard to believe he was the only one to open it with a different method by having the truth known about his brother. Also what's up with the 100.000 zetsu cells resurrecting the 1st?

Btw I got to say Kabuto is awesome, extremely intelligent with not only medical and various forms of ninjustsu but his intel on information is simply superior by far. Lol at Madara though he's so tetchy.

Well the requirement for a Mangekyo is to kill someone close to you, so it could be a best friend, and if it's a brother then the bond is even stronger.
I believe he didn't obtain it when Itachi died, but when he realized the truth about Itachi and that Itachi ALWAYS cared for him. The moment where he realized that he lost someone so close to him BECAUSE of him was probably the moment when his mangekyo awakened.
