Just watched the first 1/3rd of Samurai Champloo, was a huge Cowboy Bebop fan.

So far I've been watching it with english subs, but I saw the first episode with english dubbing and liked the voicing a lot. Any recommendations for/against going after more english dubs?

It's an anime about feudal japan and samurais.. can you think one reason why you actually SHOULD watch it in english dub?

I'd understund that you'd watch Black Lagoon or something like that in english dub since only one of the persons in the anime is acually japanese (therefore the fact that they speak english instead of japanese would be more realistic). But now you're watching japanese anime with japanese ppl and Japan as scenario.



10/10 = masterpiece = you wouldn't change a thing if it was up to you..

judging from your post, you'd want to change alot of things, therefore you shouldn't give it a 10.

But suit yourself, I might be the only one here who thinks the meaning of 10/10 as perfect.

(although I have some pretty bad animes ranked 10/10 in my mal)

True. I didn't know how well the humor would translate, it seemed like some scenes were supposed to be funnier than they came off in the subtitles.

Right, that's how I have been.

It just seems like the jokes would be more comprehensible if I heard it in english, but I'll take your advice and watch the rest undub'd.
