^Maybe I haven't really seen much of the game, just remember an initial trailer of them landing down on a planet. It seemed to be far too quick to go from planet sized to on the surface, like 10x that scale would have been pretty epic, the actual earth or something felt like 1000x the size. Could be wrong just felt off somehow
Planets are definitely planet sized i'd say.
at least in a game perspective, not sure on a legit measurement scale but it's definitely bigger than any playable map we've had in a game many times over (aside from maybe the infinite scrolling of Minecraft)
not like that would really matter too much though since you'll never fully explore one (would barely even scratch the surface of one before moving onto to another, even if you stayed for like 50hours)
this is also a game we're talking about (harder to grasp scale with our eyes, so we resort to time traveled usually) we're also dealing with sci-fi elements like ships that have warp drives.
so traveling from space to surface would be alot quicker.
