Samurai Anime from edo era.

It shouldn't be over 24 episodes and it dosn't have to have an on-going story.

Good sword fights and good visualquality are appriciated.


Only samurai anime I've seen is "Samurai Champloo", and I remember liking it

Samurai 7 (not really Edo period, but it's got good action, and it's based on The Seven Samurai by Kurosawa (this is a huge plus fyi))
Shigurui (epicness)
Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal
Peacemaker Kurogane (this is more of a shounen type anime, still decent tho, little boring in the middle of the show)
Afro Samurai (very nice art/fightscenes - horrible english dub only)
The Hakkenden (oldschool, but epic imo)
Kai Doh Maru (short OVA)
