I wouldn't state that it would be his crew who are there but it was just a guess, made a quick research about Kaido and Gecko Moria's old crew and didn't find any amount or exact number of how many they were.
What I found was:

Code
At one point in his life, he fought with Gekko Moriah and defeated him in the New World.[3] Though the details of the fight have yet to be fully explained, it is implied that he is responsible for the death of Moriah's original crew


And I guess we will hear more of what really happened further on, maybe even tomorrow - we'll see. But his crew got defeated in the NW and just had a thought about if it could be it.

Really curious of how Dragon/Retired Admirals (Garp/Aokiji/Sengoku) will be used/have a role in the New World, can't wait!!!! :drool:

i dont know,

but the fact there all wearing black/ white prison type shirts makes me say no

most likely there the results of CC experiments some how or another

And isnt geko's ship thriller bark one of the biggest ships in the show so far? one would assume to man a ship that huge it would be a pretty big crew

TODAY TODAY TODAY! :D I'm pretty sure though that we will have to wait another week. Oda has the tendency of being such a douche when it comes to revealing things, we will probably follow another part of the crew/antagonists in this one.
