He never let Sasuke hit him, he took it easy on him but he didn't let sasuke give him a beating. The hits he did take were forced on him like when his vision went blurry dodging the 2 giant sharingan.

funny thing was, you weren't posting opinions... you posted the shit everyone knows about and the highlight of the manga that doesn't even correlate with the topic we were discussing.

1. you said that you thought itachi got in a fight with madara before he fought sasuske.

2. So i gave my opinion the he did not get in a fight and i over explained the situation yes but i was giving the base for his mindset of the fight.

3 i stated several times my point was that he stood there and took the pain as judgment or punishment for the deeds he committed against his family/friends and thus explained why he didnt doge attacks and why he appeared weak.

4. the reason i gave the long winded speech on his past was because i wanted to make sure you people under stood sasuke was the one person that itachi felt deserved to kill him not just because of the brother aspect but because Sasuke is the last of the clan and he wronged the clan and he felt sasuke was the only one worthy of bringing justice down on himself

5. now stfu and stop talking about this it was my opinion and im glad you dont like it, i dont honestly care your not god of these forums your opinion isnt law, im sorry my opinion is not the same as yours and you feel the need to attack me, be seriously stfu and gtfo if you cant look at others opinions with an open mind then dont post, its a continuity forum and you try to alienate every one who has a different opinion then you and you try to argue with them and put them down its pathetic. you do this in ever thread you come across

number 3 is wrong. It showed his point of view when he got hit that he COULD NOT dodge.

It never said anything about letting sasuke hit him or using that as any kind of redemption. Itachi wasn't looking for redemption, he was doing what he thought was right by preventing a coup by the Uchihas, he simply couldn't stand to kill his brother. I seriously don't get where you are getting your "he took teh shots as redemption" ideas from.

Dude, keep your answers short. We don't need an essay to say something that could have been said in 3 sentences.

i read #1 and then laughed.....i said itachi was in a fight before the battle with sasuke, MAYBE with madara... and then you go on ranting about "no, itachi started feeling guilty about himself and wanted sasuke to kill him"...yes itachi wanted sasuke to kill him... but he planned this wayyyyy before he murdered the uchiha clan... he didn't all of a sudden change his mind because he miraculously started feeling sorry for his actions...he killed his clan on purpose...he didn't surrender himself to die because he was feeling bad about what he did to his clan, he died for sasuke.....and then you started to go off topic...... you need to go back and look at what you said and realize that you were giving a synopsis of what happened for no reason at all.

finally they raped sasuke xD
