I'd say about 2 full arcs at this point, but the anime will catch up quickly, as always. There are like a dozen fights to go through, most of which with a good amount of detail and length. It'll be a while.

I think it's been a while since they went with more than 1 canon arc at a time but I have a feeling that the anime is going right from this one to the war.

I actually enjoyed this episode a lot and I really look forward to the next episode. I have always been a Kisame fan deep down inside and I would like to know more about him.
