This time I don't bother to explain why, but I can say few keywords: Screenplay, tempo.

I seriously LOL'd when in the 1st episode the viewer is introduced with 4 characters and their past (a little.)

And there was already something "philosophic" in the first episode.. rofl ~~ put that shit in the middle and in the end, NOT in the beginning.

I just think this started with the wrong foot.

maybe I'm not suitable for mecha (but still I think that NGE was perfect.. so where's the problem? Maybe the Screenplay is just too childish in every other mecha series except NGE)

Actually the only thing that keeps me watching the 2nd episode is the girl (she's hot)

/oh, and I also dislike how the main character is some horny 14yr old kid..

lol i have the same problem with that show but i herd gets good only after ep 22-25~

Eureka 7 is bad, but I'll keep watching since it keeps me entertained.

And I'll also give a new shot for Gundam 00.

Everything else is on-hold (like 10 other animus <_<

.. but can't help it)

seriously, even though I have watched Monster a pretty long time ago, this is a show that everybody should watch!
If you haven't watched this yet, watch it already! It's the best anime I've ever seen.
