i never played an mmorpg for more than like 1 hour total gametime so i'm not too familiar on the subject.

Played Civ 5, was on sale a bit ago.

i wanted to unlock the Blue color but i've only got like 1 Party event logged (need 25) so i doubt i'll get to see how it looks before the Beta is over.
I'm not really sure how you even get a party event.

ya idk much about that stuff either.
the helpfile ingame's pretty comprehensive for what it is, but it doesnt cover stuff you've not unlocked yet or seen in person.

i was out grinding these lvl 12 mobs in the woods (7-18, what) n a little miniboss kept spawning.
then somehow we triggered a blue mob to spawn and got 2 lvls off it...
and then somehow a field boss spawned, big fat icon on the map, lvl 45 and 1hit all of us.
like i dont even
