i think he's the only supernova that's compatible or on par with Luffy as of now.
and as for Kid, i don't think he has anything on luffy.

Well he did fight a pacifista pretty well before the time skip, so I guess he wouldn`t be bad you know.

In the straw hats, the three demon trio is Luffy, Zorro and Sanji.
In the Supernovas, in my opinion, it's Luffy, Kid and Law.
I have the feeling that this three will have to work together again, not as allies, but as fellow criminals.
Either die trying to escape by yourself, or work together. I for one want to see the three of them working together.

imo, kid will just be thrown out.
if luffy is pirate king, then law is whitebeard, his somewhat equal rival.
kid will just be that guy roaming around causing trouble but won't be known or mentioned in a couple of arcs.
then we'll be hearing civilians saying "Did you hear what Kid just accomplished?" and what not.
there will be a little conflict between them, but only a little. i think Law definitely stands out more than kid
Kid just seems to be the typically bad pirate but on steroids in terms of how much trouble a pirate creates.
i do think he'll have a higher bounty, but he isn't as strong as Law i don't think.

i dont think kid is to be taken lightly. out of all the super nova crews his is the ones weve seen the most of. Kid, Killer, that scare crow zombie looking guy, and the dude with the devil pike (looks like a mini geeko moria)
since oda took the time to draw his crew up (pretty much all the other super novas except for law had no effort put into the crew yet) i think there is something big planned for kid
anyways he has a VERY usefull fruit as well. but i think Kid and x Drake will be very powerful enimies or friends and play a huge roll in an up and comeing arc
