control + shift + n = create new blank layer

go to the layer or wherever you have the render, select it and either drag it on to the canvas you are working with the little arrow tool at the top of the tool bar on or copy it with control + c
control + v = paste it will create new layer when you do so

control + t = resize (hold shift while dragging corners to maintain proportions)
control + alt + z = step backwards
control + shift + z = step forwards
shift + + = zoom in
shift + - = zoom out

some usefull keyboard commands lol

So... I got the picture to be with the other layer, but it overlapped it. LOL.

you see the layers on the right? you can drag them up or down
its a basic computer program that does all the things you would think a computer program should

Hmm. I havent progressed any further than implanting the character LOLOLOLL>>>> so if you guys do plan on making another sig anytime soon, lmk cause i wanna try also.
