It is a bit bizarre, to say the least.

Just one of those mangas where really shitty stuff happens to otherwise good people.

The only difference is the 2 MC's come along and (usually) dish out revenge in a graphic manner.

There have only been like 1 or 2 enemy assassins so far, but both have been surprisingly fucked up.

It's more violent kills ( the two MCs are qt assasins ) than "twisted" although the current arc has a poor girl like 8 being used as a sex toy by her owner than sold because she's too old. Her new owner likes to kill stuff so she gets opened up, but np she lives.

TL;DR It's sort of comedy with edgy violence

Not a lot, and I've read a lot of them. But there's a degree between "not sure this could happen" and " wtf did I just read"

I also didn't call the manga edgy rather used it as an adjective to the violence inside the manga.
I admit it was sort of my fault since the term is a catch all and is a very charged word and people react pretty violently to it.

I think it's more of a problem with Shonen than with Seinen.
