Kurapika put a condition on his power and is a specialist ( which is extremely rare something that even gon and killua don't have) If he didn't have that condition on his most powerful move it wouldn't nearly have been powerful enough to stop ugo
they talked about all this before plus I don't recall them saying killua's dad with in the top 5 strongest nen users? and I am pretty sure they said gon's dad was in the top 10
btw both shoot and knuckle are apprentices of people who are extremely strong and have been getting trained by him probably for a much longer time then gon and killua have even known about nen
I like this anime the way it is, it is more realistic then dragon ball z and other shounens where they get that "super duper awesome kawaii uguu power-up" and instead they train and they get stronger and sometimes it's enough to beat their opponents and some times it's not.
Yes thats right.
The only bad point is that they WASTE TOO many EPISODES on training.
I don't want to see them training for 4-5 episodes without them evolving new powers/new moves
The only move GON knows is jajanken since 30-40 episodes? isn't that sad?
they should just skip a month or two while they're training and just show the results of their training and surprise the watchers
