They don't need to send an army, one Admiral would be enough.

The navy won't go after any of the Yonkou now. So if Luffy gets Fishman Island as his turf, that means he beat one of the Yonkou.

They're just going to send a single admiral? What?

Edit: They would also need to hold the island if they were going to forcefully take it over. So they'll leave one admiral on the island at all times? There are 3 admirals that we know of right noww, which are the main fighting force of the navy. They're going to leave 1/3 of that force on a single island to keep it from being protected by Luffy?

Well maybe not now but I don't think he can make Fishman Island his until after he defeats big Mam. I'm 100% sure every pirate will be cower then lol. I would say he is infamous enough for Fishman Island as only pirate rookies enter there and all of them almost fear him. only idiots like Caribou are the exception. You would have too many people doing what Drake did to get Kaidou's attention if Luffy tried to protect Fishman Island without defeating Big Mam

I didn't start the argument. I was merely replying to what they replied to me.
All I said was, it will be a bad idea if Luffy owns a turf because he doesn't have the man power and time to protect it.




I just think that it is too risky to pick a fight against one of the yunko's.
Drawing too much attention to themselves. I like it better when they draw attention because they attacked a WG base like the CP9 arc.

Also from here on out Luffy isn't going to lose in a serious fight. so he is gonna pwn Big Mam

the fight bs big moom will happen strawhat will somehow loose and in the moment nami will realise that the vivre card she got from lola its pointing toward big mom. But considering Kid , took care of 2 big mom ships and instead of going and smash him they brag about being low on money shows that they can be destroyed ( wont happen.. cuz the balance of powers will be fucked again)

Two ways I see this working out:

1) Big Mam is Lola's mom. She will be the first antagonist they run into. They will fight (Luffy won't lose or win) it will seem like it is a draw in the beginning (they both are just warming up). Shit's about to get serious and Nami notices the vivre car.

2) Big mam isn't Lola's mom. The Strawhats will visit 2-3 islands before even making it to Big Mom. Luffy Beats Big Mom

If Big Mam is Lola's mother and she isn't going to be a main antagonist then Oda won't spend lots of chapters like he did for Crocodile. that would be rather pointless and would disappoint many people
