I just find it good in many ways where other animes fail.
The plot?
Don't make me laugh, plot of first eight episodes is:
two females whoring one male, period.
It's just a soap opera with random battles with aliens.
Only character that's worth mentioning from the whole show is Sheryl.
The rest isn't even worth talking about, because they're very normal and very boring (like alto or ranka (she got any personality?)).
The music.. well, I skipped through most of that, because I'm not personally into pop or anyother kind of shit.
The mecha(action) part was just an addition to make the bullshit love triangle melodrama more intresting.
I could say more, but I dunno if you finished it or not - don't wanna spoil.
Why did I watch mf? Because it was on my hdd, because I had a lot of free time back then and because I enjoyed watching Sheryl.
Also thanks for being silent about the rest of my post and induring your "but meng, we got different taste!" - I don't care, I can comment about anything on this subforum if I feel like doing so.
I suggest you watch White Album next, that's the story you're looking for.
It's like MF minus mecha and better.
