i agree i thought it was alright at best

most shows are like that tbh

I dropped it after the scene where they have to kill some dude like 7 times, and saber (or somebody else, idc) does some kind of ultra-buy one get seven-stab which kills the enemy exactly seven times.

I was like ololwtf


Not one scene before that stuck to memory on account of it's quality/originality/coolness/...

it's just bland, mediocre, spoonfed crap

I havn't even finished Macross Frontier and I already think it's one of the most well-made animes ever.

It doesn't nessecerely mean that it's good or anything, but the way it tells the plot and how the action scenes are made very clear and cool with the music in background, makes me fascinated.

This show just astonishes me in so many good ways. The screenplay is very good compared to other mecha series, where the plot advances very stupidily and every new concept (such as monsters, weapons, etc) have to explained very straigtly to the viewer. I really hate when anime underestimates the watcher. (good example: Mobile suit gundam 00)

I'm not saying that Macross Frontier is one of my favorite animes , or that everyone should watch it. I just find it good in many ways where other animes fail.
