Naurto only exists because of these 10/10 epic story driven moments imo, everything else just builds up to them and gives it context, accept filler that just delays the time between the epicness

I love all training stuff trying to learn new moves btw, like when hes learning wind shuriken. I felt they could have included a bit more of it overall, dragonball did it right


Lee vs Gaara sure, but zabuza? i can almost skip that arc now so boring, one cool moment when kakashi's starts using sharingan
Just need to wait til the op fight for it to get better+ original isn't as good as shippuden imo (-a few moments)
Isn't the fight with the third better also? Deep forest emergence/Birth of the Trees/Nativity of a World of Trees, i love all the names they give this move lol

i agree on some points to an extent, but that point in time of "going downhill" was kinda how i always thought about it until i rewatched going along with this guide.
never gonna give any pop shounen a 10/10 but i feel to make a deal out of how terrible it is, is pretty baseless

Overall, I think Hajime no Ippo far outshines Naruto in terms of being a good shonen.

I never said Naruto is terrible for it's genre, just that the genre is pretty terrible.

i always thought of ippo as more of a sports anime than a shounen, i know its both but i put it in that basket
i've been enjoying alot of the sports anime coming out, maybe just because it's been a long time since a good martial arts anime came out idk.
i used to try and watch everything that came out, i've kindof been thinking that i might not watch any anime after naruto ends, unless some awesome new show comes out everything just seems so garden variety anymore.

They should just animate Abara and Vagabond already.

Anything like that would be filled with fan service.. that's how animes are nowadays lol.

Because the animation looks kiddy and the dialogue is horrible, oh, and the plot is horrible? Even the best fight scenes are like 5/10 compared to a good Bleach fight, and that's another incredibly mediocre show.
