Good time to get into it, season 2 begins October 9th. Felt it was a lot more concrete than Death Note, although I loved it and hate to admit it, it did fall off a bit after L's death.

dnote is an amazing show
they should have never killed off L though

Was an L fan (how he introduced himself on the broadcast+ trolled/located Kira was awesome), became a Kira fan after L died.
