his personality has changed though your right. Nen typically isnt unlocked at such a young age. So even if its supposed to be "impossible" to change your primary nen type, that might not apply if you're still maturing. Ive been trying to think of some cool power an enhancer could come up with, but i just cant think of anything. Jajanken is a cool all in attack stance, but thats all it really is. Or ever can be really and gon isnt about to dedicate the rest of his life to the "rock paper scissors attack stance" anyway. If ging is right and his nen nodes were just "reset" than itd be really cool to see him develop nen through dedicated specific training like your supposed to, rather than the shortcut route.
anyway i still think his inability to use nen is still some subconscious method of getting stronger his body came up with on its own after feeling the power possible.
