Cardcaptor Sakura was the first thing I watched in Japanese dub, this was the summer before I started highschool.

Got really sucked into and started self teaching some Hiragana. Found out that the school I was going to had Japanese. The rest is history

Bleach on TV. Though it was cool so I decided to watch from the beginning. Finished it in less than a month. Then did Naruto with a friend, and then learned about MAL and this section so have been using those to decide what to watch next

Inuyasha

Believe it was Basilisk a few years ago.

DBZ ofc but I'd say Outlaw Star got me really into it

Kenshin was the first.
Watched the full series subbed.

I was actually shocked that there as much more to the anime that I never saw and was thinking I've seen everything aired.
Although I can't say I missed much considering season 3 wasn't that great compared to season 1 & 2.

literally spent a month only waking up to watch these series.. that was a few years ago
CCS made me really enjoy it, and I found chobits shortly after.
