Or lulfactor would be:
Itagaki loses in the class A finals
Ippo gives up the title after the class A tourney
Itagaki gets the empty title match after having lost in the class A tourney like Vorg did
Itagaki wins the title easily for some crazy powerup reason
Itagaki is recognized by Martinez first and gets a shot at the world...and wins.

Itagaki is now world champ and another of Ippo's goals is torn from his grasp just like Date rematch and Miyata fight.
Ippo goes emo and works his boat.
