Uh... Try playing the movie with the subtitle files in the same folder. Make sure they're all named the same.
IE:
SomeMovie.avi
SomeMovie.idx
SomeMovie.sub

I've never really worked with those, so I don't know. If it doesn't work, try using Media Player Classic instead.

So I followed everything in the guide, i had already been using cccp and now got coreavc and it's working properly in mpc or zoom, b4 i couldn't even watch because it was so slow lol, but still the sound is just a little ahead of what's actually happening, neway to fix this?

actually now that i look in zoom player and check if it shows up as the active filter it shows the same as the screen that says its wrong, but in mpc it shows how it should be?

That's extremely odd, I don't see a Video Decoder anywhere...

Do this:
Open CCCP Insurgent again
Tools > Media Information > Select the file in question
Hit "Copy"
Go to http://meltingice.pastebin.com/
Paste into the text box
Copy/paste me the link here

Also, is this Vegapunk's version? I have that one but my test render comes out differently.

Also, what's this "Filter 3: AVI Decompressor" thing? If you installed something before, you should probably uninstall it. Something's causing the AVI Decompressor to kick in when it shouldn't.
