Mappa is shit to their employees, which is shame.

Freelancers are going to get screwed with these new tax law in Japan. They are predicting poor animation and voice acting will become the norm after the tax appliance. The people on the lower end / small companies will probably go under as they are barely making it by anyway. Can't afford to pay employee's properly. Which I don't understand with larger anime studios would pocket extra money [charging extra for crunchyroll and keep as "taxes"] Rather then using it for better work conditions, hire more employees, or pay handsomely to the ones keeping them well afloat.

bruh japan is overall fcked up, like they get 40h contracts or whatever but actually have 80h weeks.. they are getting scammed af
but to be honest thats their own problem, if their new generation is not able to change it and just deal with it no wonder it stays like this.
just as an example germany and its working conditions are changing because of generation Z

japan also needs "a generation xyz" which forces a change in its stupid workaholic culture

I agree. Especially when it comes to expectations and work. Then people wonder why so many bodies are constantly found. This is another thread topic though, apologies for going off topic.
